■Overview
Do you find it time-consuming to keep up with the growing number of documents created and updated in Confluence? By integrating Confluence with ChatGPT, this workflow automatically analyzes page content whenever a page is updated and adds a comment to the footer. Save time on manual reviews and summary creation, and streamline information sharing across your team.
■Who should use this template
- Teams using Confluence as a knowledge base and looking to improve the efficiency of information sharing
- Teams looking to make Confluence document management more convenient with ChatGPT
- Team members who spend significant time manually reviewing and summarizing page updates
■Benefits of using this template
- ChatGPT automatically analyzes pages when they are updated in Confluence, reducing the time required to review content and create summaries
- Automatically adding summaries and other content to the footer helps prevent missed information and reduces misunderstandings across the team
■Workflow
- First, connect Confluence and ChatGPT to Yoom
- Next, select Confluence as the trigger and set the action to “When a page is created or updated”
- Next, add a branching step to the workflow and configure it so that subsequent actions run only when specific conditions are met
- Next, set the Confluence “Get a page” action and retrieve the content of the updated page
- Next, set the ChatGPT “Generate text” action and generate any text based on the retrieved page content
- Finally, set the Confluence “Add a footer comment to a page” action and add the generated text as a comment
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that runs within the workflow after the trigger starts it.
■Customization options
- In the Confluence trigger settings, set the target cloud ID as needed
- With branching, you can freely customize the conditions for proceeding to subsequent actions, such as limiting the workflow to updates in a specific space
- You can freely edit the prompt provided to ChatGPT. Configure it based on your goal, such as “Summarize this page in three lines.”
- When adding a comment to Confluence, you can freely customize the content by combining the text generated by ChatGPT with fixed text or other elements
■Notes
- Connect both Confluence and ChatGPT to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- A paid OpenAI API plan is required to run ChatGPT (OpenAI) actions. (You must have a payment method available when the API is used.)
OpenAI API pricing - OpenAI charges for ChatGPT API usage based on the number of tokens used when the API communicates. If payment cannot be made when the API is used, an error will occur.
- Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, the configured workflow operation will result in an error.
- Paid plans such as the Mini plan include a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
