Add a row to Microsoft Excel when a specific message is sent in Discord

With this workflow, whenever a message is sent to a specific Discord channel, its content is automatically added as a row to a designated Microsoft Excel sheet, helping you streamline these information-sharing tasks.

■How the Flowbot Works

1. First, connect Discord and Microsoft Excel to Yoom.
2. Next, set the Discord trigger to “When a message is sent in a channel.”
3. Then, configure the branching feature in an operation so that the workflow proceeds only when specific conditions are met.
4. Finally, set the Microsoft Excel operation to “Add a record” and add the information retrieved from Discord to the specified file or sheet.

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger starts.

■Customization Options

• In the Discord trigger settings, specify the server ID and channel ID you want to monitor for messages.
• With the branching feature, you can freely customize the conditions for running subsequent operations based on information retrieved from Discord, such as message content.
• When adding records to Microsoft Excel, you can flexibly choose which information retrieved from Discord to assign to each field or whether to enter a fixed value.

• Connect both Discord and Microsoft Excel to Yoom.
• You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
• Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in the Flowbot will result in an error.
• Paid plans, including the Mini plan, come with a two-week free trial. During the trial, you can use apps and operations that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
• Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) offers plans for home users and business users (Microsoft 365 Business). Authentication may fail if you are not subscribed to a business plan.
