Regularly add Shopify product information to Notion

Regularly add Shopify product information to Notion

Launch this workflow to connect Shopify & Notion !
■Overview
Manually exporting Shopify product data on a regular basis for management and analysis is time-consuming and can easily lead to missed updates. With this workflow, Shopify product information is automatically added to a Notion database on your chosen schedule, eliminating the need to manually export Shopify data and helping you keep your product information up to date at all times.
■Who should use this template
  • EC professionals who manually export Shopify product information and manage it in other tools
  • Those who use Notion as a product master and want to automate data synchronization with Shopify
  • Those looking to streamline regular data backups and information-sharing tasks
■Benefits of using this template
  • Automating regular exports from Shopify and data entry into Notion reduces the time spent on manual work.
  • Preventing missed exports and data entry errors helps you consistently manage accurate product information in Notion.
■Flowbot steps
  1. First, connect Shopify and Notion to Yoom.
  2. Next, select the schedule feature as the trigger and set the date, time, or frequency for running this Flowbot.
  3. Next, select Shopify as the operation and use the “Search products” action to retrieve the product information you want to add to Notion.
  4. Next, configure loop processing in the operation so that the retrieved product information can be processed one item at a time.
  5. Finally, configure Notion’s “Add a record” action in the operation to add the product information retrieved through the loop process to the database.
※ “Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that performs processing within the flow after the trigger starts.
■Customization options
  • In the schedule trigger settings, choose the frequency (daily, weekly, etc.) and date and time for running the flow.
  • In the Shopify product search action, you can set conditions such as the status of the products to retrieve.
  • For loop processing, set the product list data retrieved by the preceding Shopify action as the processing target.
  • In the action for adding a record to Notion, you can customize the content by entering fixed text or embedding values retrieved from Shopify.
■Notes
  • Connect both Shopify and Notion to Yoom.
  • Shopify is available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, operations and Data Connects configured in the Flowbot will result in errors.
  • Actions between “Repeat the same process” operations are available only on the Team and Success plans. On the Free and Mini plans, operations and Data Connects configured in the Flowbot will result in errors.
  • Paid plans, including the Team and Success plans, come with a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
