Analyze a newly created Confluence page with Dify and add a comment
■Overview
Reviewing and understanding the information accumulated in Confluence through daily operations can be time-consuming. This is especially true in environments where new pages are created one after another, increasing the risk of overlooking important information. With this workflow, whenever a new page is created in Confluence, Dify, an AI chat platform, automatically analyzes its content and posts the results to Confluence. By integrating Dify with Confluence, you can streamline manual information organization and review tasks while improving the quality of knowledge management.
■Who This Template Is For
- Those who want to streamline the review and summarization of documents posted to Confluence
- Information systems teams who want to connect Dify and Confluence via API and automate knowledge base analysis
- Project managers who want to facilitate information sharing within their teams and maintain consistent document quality
■Benefits of Using This Template
- When a Confluence page is created, Dify automatically analyzes and posts its content, reducing the time spent on manual reviews and summaries
- AI analyzes the content objectively, helping prevent variations in review quality between team members and human errors such as missed checks
■Workflow
- First, connect Confluence and Dify to Yoom
- Next, select Confluence as the trigger and set the action to “When a page is created”
- Next, configure branching in the operations and set the workflow to proceed only when specific conditions are met
- Next, configure Confluence’s “Get a page” action in the operations to retrieve the details of the page created by the trigger
- Next, configure Dify’s “Send a chat message” action in the operations to send the retrieved page content for analysis
- Finally, configure Confluence’s “Add a footer comment to a page” action in the operations to add the text generated by Dify as a comment
※“Trigger”: An action that starts the workflow. “Operation”: An action that processes information within the workflow after the trigger starts.
■Customization Options
- For each Confluence action, set the target cloud ID as needed
- With branching, you can freely set conditions for proceeding with subsequent actions based on information obtained by the preceding trigger, such as a specific creator or page title
- For the action that sends a chat message to Dify, you can customize the prompt used to generate text and use information obtained earlier, such as page content, as variables
- For the final Confluence action that adds a footer comment to a page, you can set fixed values, Dify’s analysis results, and other variables to generate the comment
■Notes
- Connect both Confluence and Dify to Yoom.
- You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
- Please note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
- For details on connecting Dify to My Apps, see the guide below.
Dify My Apps integration guide - Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in workflows that use branching will result in an error.
- Paid plans, including the Mini plan, come with a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
When an employee is registered in Google Workspace, this flow invites them to Confluence. By using this flow, you can automatically invite users. Automating this process has the benefit of reducing missed invitations for new employees.

When a new conversation is created in Intercom, this flow generates a response using Dify and notifies Google Chat. This can reduce the time required to create responses to inquiries, thereby alleviating the burden on the person in charge.
When there is an inquiry on HubSpot, this flow creates a response using Dify and notifies it on Slack. By using this flow, the speed of customer response is improved. Even if the generated response draft is incorrect, it can be corrected before sending, so there is no risk of reduced response quality due to AI.
