Create a meeting space in Google Meet and send a notification when a specific message is posted in Discord

With this workflow, you can automatically create and share a Google Meet meeting space when a specific message is posted on Discord, making it easy to streamline this process.

■How the flow works

1. First, connect Discord and Google Meet with Yoom
2. Next, select Discord as the trigger and set the action to “When a message is sent in a channel”
3. Then, set up the “Branch” operation so that subsequent steps run only when a received message contains specific keywords
4. Next, set up Google Meet’s “Create meeting space” action as an operation
5. Finally, set up Discord’s “Send message” action as an operation and notify the specified channel of the created meeting URL

※“Trigger”: An action that starts the flow. “Operation”: An action that processes data within the flow after the trigger runs

■Customization options

• In the Discord trigger settings, specify the server ID and channel ID where you want the workflow bot to run
• With the Branch feature, you can freely customize the conditions for branching subsequent operations using information retrieved by the preceding trigger
• For the Discord notification action, you can specify the channel where the message will be sent. You can also add fixed text to the message or insert values retrieved in preceding operations

■Notes

• Connect both Discord and Google Meet with Yoom.
• You can choose a trigger interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
• Note that the shortest available trigger interval varies by plan.
• Branching is an operation available on the Mini plan and above. On the Free plan, operations configured in the workflow bot will result in an error.
• Paid plans, including the Mini plan, offer a two-week free trial. During the free trial, you can use apps and features (operations) that are otherwise subject to plan restrictions.
